oh hello home, it's been a while;

So having grown up in Malaysia, I'm obviously biased. But every time I know that someone is coming to visit/ has visited this place I call home, I'm always desperate to know what they thought of it. Though the comments are usually all good (as I'd expect nothing less), the odd negative ones (usually from random strangers that I creep) annoy the crap out of me. Sure, everywhere has its pros and cons, but I don't see the point in travelling, if you are not going to travel with an open mind. Get off your high horse and do as the Romans do when in Rome. Bam, guaranteed good time.

Sure, we may not be the cleanest, most organised or the easiest to talk to. No country is perfect, and thats what gives it character. I'm obviously not going to try and change to opinions of every tourist who has visited this country cause the haters are gonna hate. Nonetheless, I'm excited for all the upcoming visitors and can't wait to show them what our beautiful country has to offer.

Now all I need is to drag my Saywell girls down here, I know they'd have an amazing time. :)

p/s: It's great to be home. Oh how I've missed you so. <3

yes I made you, believe that I would be the one to heal you;

So here we are again, end of another school year. Halfway to my degree. That's so hard to believe. Just yesterday my sister was starting her first year, and I was thinking it was such a big deal, which it was. And now she's graduating! It's all so exciting and scary and I'm just grasping that it's all really happening.

Exams have arrived, and I really need to buckle down and get the work done. Half my grade right here and now. I can make or break it. And I refuse to ruin my grades. I have my internship lined up for me, and recruitment for next summer starts in August. I don't need anymore bad grades. My little journey down the accounting road is starting. I think I'm ready. Mostly I'm just really excited for the summer. Yes I know it'll be lots of work, sure they make you work ridiculous hours and don't take you to freaking Disneyland at the end of the internship period. But you know what, if I survive this, and enjoy it, I know I'm making the right choice. And I'll be ready for whatever it is they'll throw at me next year. Plus the idea of accomplishing something by the end of the summer, that's pretty darn awesome. Like I said, I'm excited. :)

This weekend has been the April Fools joke from hell in the Saywell residence. Nope, April Fools isn't just one day, its only begun. :/ On a different note, I'm so thankful for the girls and my house this year and am glad to be able to come back to it in the fall. Though we all started out unexpectedly and just sort of happened. It was the best decision of our lives. Everyone's so different and yet we get along like sisters. We've met tons of people and built new friendships that would have otherwise never happened. So yes, despite our ups and downs, it's only brought us closer. :) <3
