Our dearest little Tan Kate Lynn had her first birthday party, and boy was it something. :) I loved the decorations and the setting of the party. Definitely something spectacular. :) Boyy, I bet anyone who knows this baby, knows that she is going to be one lucky child, if not by anything else, but her uncles and aunties who are gonna spoil this baby like mad. Hehe. I won't deny Jen and I have already planned the ice-cream outings and shopping sprees, with her daddy's credit card of course! :D

so long sweet summer;

the jil and i hit bangsar today. we had lunch at alexis, yummy yummy food. too bad there was not enough tummy space for dessert. there didn't seem to be any pavlova anyways. i was sad.

however, it was truly a productive day, in the context of money spent of course. so many gorgeous clothes yet no sizes (for jil) and no money(for me). twas very painful. but it was a good day nonetheless, cause i got to spend some quality time with her. :) too bad, only two thirds of the trio could make it. :(

nevermind, next time, next time. we should really get together and make macaroni or something. haha. just for old times sake. preferably not expired ones, unless you'd like to reenact every detail. heh heh. ;) but yeah. i just realised that i haven't attended/hosted a sleepover in ages. i miss those little things we all used to do. like stay up till four doing nonsense. talking about everything and anything. cooking junkkk. watching movies. playing tekken. haha. good times, definitely.

oh and a shoutout my favorite girl out there in melbourne. i miss you sayang. can't wait till you come back. and let the meique fest begin. muahaha. :D

only that which i'd heard;

hello hello world. :) yes, its been a couple days.

so, i've been swamped with work. plus the weird lethargic'ness that seems to come with college starting again has taken over, making me squeeze in early nights wherever, and whenever possible. heh heh. heck, yesterday i fell asleep in lan class while we were watching kung fu panda. i still think its a really dumb movie. which i blame for causing me to fall asleep in class. not that i need a reason, but i'm just saying. ;p

oh i've realised that i've become quite the jinx these past few weeks. like i can't seem to let a week pass without falling on my ass openly in college. like swt much. -_-' the first week, i was walking down the stairs, missed a step and fell on my hands and knees, all them jpa people staring like i did it on purpose or whatever. heh. then, the second week, i was walking back to the cafeteria, and i tripped on the curb. again, falling on hands and knees. still embarrassing. so i laughed as if it was the most hilarious thing that has happened in my oh-so-boring life, so people just thought i was some weirdo who enjoyed sitting on curbs in awkward positions with my books scattered everywhere. (yes, i do realise i'm exaggerating, but its fun ;p) then this week, i put my bag on the chair in the cafeteria, it tips over cause my bag is full of bricks, then i take a seat -- on the floor, cause i don't realise the chain is on the ground already. include a couple shrieks and a lot of obvious coverup laughing and that pretty much sums it up. :D

finally, the awesome icpu bunch went out for not just A movie, but THE movie of the year, according to star newspaper lah. but i do have to agree! it was absolutely crazy. in a good way of course. at first the sight of heath ledger playing joker gave me a little lump in my throat ( ask sandy, heh ) but then i got totally into it. it was awesome. and i'm so glad, i didn't miss my chance to watch in in the cinema. oh and before we headed off to the movies today, i managed to play a couple rounds of pool. again, its been a while. but i definitely had my mojo going on. heh heh. as some ego's are at stake, i think i need not mention who's asses got whooped. HEEEEH. :D gosh, i'm mean. :(

i strongly dislike people (in this particular case; teachers) who look down on icpu. anyone who knows me knows how i feel about it. having a 70:30 classwork:exam ratio doesn't mean we're lazy. we earn all our marks just like the rest of them. just because we happen to be slightly more outspoken than your sam and cal classes. it gives you no right to pick on us. honestly. is it professional to call your students lazy and rebellious right to their faces. saying that we're a problematic bunch and then, have the nerve to say only icpu students skip class.

come on, grow up.

okay, i knowww. i'm sorry i've been neglecting my blog. its just that my life is SO mundane right now, i really don't see the point. we're back into the routine; wake up, go to college, come home, hw/go online, sleep. and a whole lotta eating in between. still. -_-

i guess the only high point of my last two days have been the suprise (for me lah) visit from my mom's cousin's family, from holland. like whoah. this is probably my first time meeting that side of the family. their cool though. :) last night we went for seafood at pantai. (can you say yumm?) and today we went for jap for lunch, then to OU for some shopping. yay! :D heh heh. and i would say that my dutch is getting better, but unfortunately it ain't. :( i can't even remember no in dutch. -_- plus the fact that its only three letters, na(insert consonant here), is it that obvious how much my memory retention is deteriorating? gosh.

wow. okay. this is probably the longest that i've gone in a while without updating. hmm. shame on me. anyways. the second sem of college has begun. and one more to go! heh. :) well, this week has been pretty hectic. getting to classes, getting work done. bla bla bla. the good thing is, that my classes only start at like 9.15am so i have a good hour to like psych myself up for it. ;p basically i have like three back to back classes, which is fine in my opinion. i mean, can tahan la. :) plus, if it weren't for that dreadful LAN, i'd be done classes and home free at one! HAH. beat that.

so this sem, i'm all signed up for International Business (IB), Calculus and English 4U. so far the classes have been pretty good. :) at least i have friends in each class lah. and my classes mostly have people in their second sem. so its not too quiet. :) for IB i have a new teacher, ms sandra hacker. she's like okay lah. but seems to be really nervous all the time, and quite strict. :( boo. but i'm hoping she'll loosen up over time. oh, did i mention that kamal and i noticed she has a tat. haha. alot of the new teacher have tat's. ohh, they so cool. hahahaha. today we even saw mr henna like walking out of college with socks and birks. like wtf. thank goodness he's good looking. ;p

moving on, for calc i have mrs foo. i think you had her for your calc too kan kach? so far she's pretty good la. she's all for like pairwork, and discussing and stuff. which is fineee. but yeah. i guess it just takes a little getting used to her style pula after having a whole lotta mrs tan last sem. calc by farr has like the most hw. everyday she is just like, "here you go!", "don't forget to take your hw on the way out!", "this assignment is due monday!" -_-' but so far its still manageable i suppose.

then for ENG4U i've got a 'new' teacher as well, mr ben murray. he's cool cause he's like taught at taylors before, then went back to canada and now is back again. we like technically just started lessons today, and i really do like it so far. oh, mr ben said that if we're allowed we might do pride and prejudice, instead of the outsider. goshh, i really hope we can! but becky and i seem to be the only jane austen fanatics in class. hehe. :) i think this is gonna be an interesting sem. :):)

for LAN i've mr ari ommmmmm ( preferably said with the whole meditating tone, ommmmm) haha. i still think LAN is a waste of my time, but i can't seem to bring myself to skip class, YET. haha. i haven't done any of his hw yet though. damn malas. i really do need to get back into the whole swing of things though. (not for LAN particularly, just my classes in general)

but yeah, i'm like dead tired by the time i get back everyday, not sure why though. :S i mean, like its not like last sem where i'm there till 5. but by the time i get home pun its already 4.45 so there isn't really much difference. hmm, i have this like sudden craving for starbucks caramel hot chocolate. heh heh. :) okay lah. this was like a super lame ass boring post. i guess the life has just been sucked outta me. :( hopefully i get my blogging mojo back.

twenty thousand miles;

because we know how to end our holidays with a bang. :) today was the last official day of holidays. well technically i have an extra day, but i suppose 24 hours doesn't really count. anyways, today was full of last minute plans, but somehow its as if those are the ones that work out the best. just letting everything fall into place. :)

started the day by waking up at the ungodly hour of 9.30 (don't judge me) to go have breakfast with the friends at raju's! the friends consisting of me, jue, ieka, muzzie, annie, malik and zai. we did the usual, makaned and chit chatted the entire morning. i just realised how much we need to have another girls lunch. updates lah. :) so yeah, then after the extremely filling breakfast and some camwhoring involved, we all went our separate ways.

then jue and i headed on home so she could get some of our pictures off my laptop and settle the plans for that afternoon as well as finish off 21 ( awesome movie btw!). i decided to self invite and follow them to klpac to watch the play air con. :) so we checked to make sure tickets were still available, got ready and headed over to jue's place for her to get ready. hung around, the headed off to klpac. it being my first time going there, i was amazed at the layout of the place. i think its just absolutely gorgeous. i was oogling at all the potential pretty picture places. HAHA. the quadruple P's.

anywho's. back to talking about air con. an awesome play. seriously, all though the issues may not have been what most of us call conventional, it was very captivating and interesting. the acting was excellent as well. :) after the play was over, jue and i went out to the park to take some pictures. tak puas though, so i definitely wanna go back again one day. :) picnic perhaps?

went back to jue's place and settled down in front of the couch to end our holidays watching forgetting sarah marshall and eating wayy too much mcdonalds. haha. awesome nontheless. :)

college starts back on tuesday. eek much? i honestly can't wait to go back. i really do love college. but just the prospect of new people, and the thought of how much things have/will change scares me. enough to scare me back into my little hole of holiday ness. to think that i was actually worried about the holidays. they were good, i spent it with the people who mean the most to me. maybe not so much with some. but overall, i'm pretty satisfied. :)

usually, i'm all up for meeting new people. hey, its fun. and it keeps things interesting. but what if it tears us apart? what if we're abducted by our new classmates and don't hang out as much together anymore? what if we don't have the same breaks? what if things change? ish, as much as i hate what if's, i do know that all we can do is wait and see, hope for the best, have faith that our friendships are strong enough. well, i think they are. its just my nerves getting the best of me.

wow, this really is some emo shit post. heh, sorry lah. we're all allowed to freak out every once in a while. :)

on a brighter note, my mom's friend kathy is coming today. again, we play hostess for i'm not sure how long. oh well, its always fun. :) touristyy time again! i doubt i'll be following on any trips though. :( darnn.

ooh, i just watched ps. i love you. i know lah, i'm slow, it's been out for ages. but i just got the dvd, so sue me lah. it was better than expected, cause i truly expected the worst based on everyone's reviews. but definitely not great. i dunno if it was hilary swank who just didn't do the part justice or just the story line over all. though i really did like gerard butler as jerry. heh heh. :) but i do recall the book itself being rather disappointing. oh wells. i just bought a whole stack of books to read. yah, i know. my timing is impeccable. just as college begins, i plan to bury myself in books. honestly, the whole holidays pun i only read stuff halfwayy. thats not good. but i was just too darn lazy.

i guess on tuesday it back to waking up at 6.15am. not 11am. eyerr. thats no fun. :(

so today was a day out with that sahabat whose been enjoying himself thoroughly in bali sampai the kawan back home had no more random temans. haha. okayla, it wasn't that bad. but i like to be dramatic. ;p we watched hancock, a very good movie in my opinion. go watch it! then the best friend joined us and we had cupcakes at ugly bird cafe. the cutest little shop. seriouslyy. :) jalan jalaned then had ballet, with pictures this time. heeee. :) yes, its a rare occasion that you get pictures from the studio, but 'someone' was pandai enough to bring her cam, and we ended class ontime for once, so camwhoring it was! :D
