today was better. much better. i think.
had lunch with niro & farshad, then had bl which was fun :) i like mr mac.was gossiping and stalking sash's pics on his hard drive during bl with kimberley while eating in the computer lab. tsk tsk, march intake people. ;p anyway, hope next week gets better. i still don't know my advanced functions teachers name. either ms tan or ms gan. anyone knows? but yea, she's kinda evil.
oh, next week is icpu's dress up week. :) it would/could be fun, IF everyone dresses up. hopefully la. monday is back to school, so i'm planning to go in my pinafore. that is if i can find it. ;p tuesday is backwards, wednesday is formal, thursday is nerd vs. cool (if anyone knows wth that is and how to dress pls tell me, it just doesn't make much sense to me :/) and friday is traditional. oh, and ms gan/tan is forcing us all to dress up, if not its 5 marks cut from our grade. we don't even have a grade and already she's threatening it. :S
just had a nice long conversation with lena babes, and now with mei. :) i like keeping in touch with all my over-the-seas-and-far-away friends. misshh you guys mucho. keep the stories rolling. ;) cause i am more than lost. met up with jue, vid and kim after class today. nice, just lepaking. :D had bk for din din and thats about it. maybe i should start on my adv func assignment. but so malas la. :(

hey people,

sorry for the disconnection. i've just been coming online lots, looking at pages and stuff, but too lazy to comment or blog or post pictures. heck, i've been too lazy to take pictures. i guess the interest is temporarily gone.
well, college has started. i think i expected a little too much, cause its not as awesomely fun as i somehow expected it to be. people are kinda intimidating, but i guess it takes time to adjust and stuff, and you just gotta get to know them. but yeah. don't get me wrong, the classes are cool. i've got a pretty okay teacher for advanced functions. she kinda reminds me of puan soo. and she keeps trying to correct our grammar. sheesh, go teach english or something. but yea, like i said, okay lar. :) then i've got a good teacher for business leadership, mr mac. or at least i think he's cool. haha. both him and his wife, ms kim are really nice. so thats good.
unfortunately the beginning of college has brought hw and assignments along with it. i realised how much i've forgotten add math already. and mrs tan keeps going on and on about how its all prerequisite and we should know it all by heart already. -_-' yeah, plus i sit alone in math class. so i can't exactly ask the person next to me. maybe i should go sit next to the smarties. muahaha. lol. okay, lame, i know. and i'm totally lost in bl cause i've got no experience whatsoever of learning econs, so yea, a little lost there too. but its all good. adjusting okay i guess.
i just kinda miss the whole us thing going on in form 5. i know when i go to school, i definately have someone to hang out with and count on. but in college its different. everyone is so new and i just feel kinda alone i guess. of course i love love all my sa & bb friends, but cause they only get really short breaks, i don't get to see them that much. hopefully that'll change, cause i have this huge 4 hour break in the middle of the day. so yeah, i think everyone's break coincides with mine. yay. anyway, yeah. thats pretty much the update of the first week at college so far.
oh, we had the osslt (ontario secondary school literacy test) today. it was ookay, but i'm a little scared, cause i haven't written anything in months, then i suddenly have to do an entire test but yea, thanks to ms kim for helping us english class-less people with the prep for the test. :) anywho, thats over now and its back to assignments.

today was the movie&tea party for us non college kids. haha. considering i'm crossing over soon, i figured i better make the most of it. it was an over all fun day. :) pictures!

satu hasrat, satu semangat, satu tekad

national service. it was a really really great experience. i don't know how else to describe it. the people, the instructors, the activities (mostly physical la) were awesome.

after chinese new year we managed to fit in all the hardcore physical activities which was great. heck we even had time for the boring shit, that somehow still seemed to have priority. we started off the second half of ns with the water sports. it basically consisted of water confidence - whereby we floated in the river in a circle and got dunked by the instructors. kinda funny actually, the teachers trying to push me underwater, haha, there was river crossing which was the same as what we did in rompin last year, kayaking and rakit. didn't manage to do rakit though, but i'm not sad bout that cause the current was pretty strong and lots got pulled away with it. HAHA.

besides that, in the second half we also started our community service. i would have to say that it was pretty well planned. my group managed to go gotong royong at a petempatan org miskin, then we all went to the beach and cleared up all the dead branches, then it was into the jungle to learn about tree's and stuff, then it was a visit to the police marines station and lastly the blood donation drive. ick. but yea, for a good cause right? props to all of them who were brave enough to have that humongous needle up their arm.

we also got to do high ropes and flying fox, my personal favorite. :) funla, doing the high ropes although i was quick to get it over with. flying fox, i dunno, it was fun. a little different than what we're used to cause our hands were the ones holding onto the ropes and not just entirely connected to the harness so that was a little freaky. then the best for me was repelling. though i was kinda unsatisfied cause the first time i just slid straight down without any of that cool jumping off the wall. :( so i went again, haha, thanks ckg. mazni, and kinda did it better. kinda.

anywho, oh, my mom finally let me shoot the m16's last minute. lucky i could, if not i'd just be sitting there doing nothing. we went to the tentera laut diraja malaysia base in kuantan to shoot.
we had a short briefing right after we reached and then slowly group by group went to shoot. they cheated us though, we were told we'd get 20 bullets but i think it was only like 12. :( but anywho, it was still a cool experience. never again i think i would have the chance, so i'm pretty glad that i did. :D

then we had wirajaya as well. which is basically a camping trip. :) we were the first group in my camp that didn't take the 20 minute route there, or sit on a bus to the site. haha. we acutally did the real thing. a 4 hour trek over the neighboring bukit labohan to the site, one bay over. it was a pretty good trek, but really really new, so the path wasn't very clear. but we still had fun. going down was the scariest and the funniest. the guys were hilarious. acting helpful to see how many girls would acutally hold their hands(miow&jikuan), or swinging into tree's acting like tarzan(shpet). then when we got there we were provided with lunch and then off to the campsite. it was really cramped in the jungle, but we managed to get our tent up with "some" help from the instructors, since we were already late. then we had to cook our own dinner and just lepaked in the tent talking about nonsense. haha. it was good. except for the ants crawling over me and biting my hands. :( but i survived. :D

then after that it was pretty much competition, competitions, competitions. i must say that we helang wirawati were pretty awesome. managing to sapu half of the trophies! :) teamwork was incredible. :D yay us! ooh, siang and i managed to win the singles kayak. we were so happy when we won, we were like screaming and hugging each other and shit. haha. but yea. other than that we were practicing for our hindustan dance on the last night. it was hilarious. but sorry, pictures and videos are NOT available for public viewing. malu much.

so yeah, over all it was a really great experience there. anyone gone/going to kem bakau resort, kerteh, terengganu don't worry. you'll have an awesome time. as long as KJ is there. :) he's the best!

good morning sunshine

yup. i'm back. for good. :)

the past three months have been nothing short of amazing. and i am proud to say that i have gone, lived and survived national service. there is no way that i would be able to fully capture and justify all the memories. but that doesn't mean that i won't try. patience is a virtue and i'll post on ns. just need a little more time. for now, a picture will have to speak its thousand words. :)
