MERRY CHRISTMAS!

this years christmas was odd in a way. i mean, we did everything that we usually do, just without kach. -_-'

so on christmas eve, we had the usual dinner at the big house. all the cousins hung out and talked and stuff. not really much to elaborate on. we stuffed ourselves with moms cooking (yumyum). but this year, there was an addition to the christmas eve routine. we sang carols. it was actually pretty funny. we tried doing all these fancy things with the 12 days of christmas but we just ended up laughing instead. i realised that i have a really bad singing voice. sorry to whoever has had to listen to me sing. (ie, kach) LOL. yup.

after the carols, we had the usual santa coming to give gifts. to cut a long story short, kevin was santa again. i don't think the kids fall for it anymore (except for christina which was so cute) and it was actually kinda sad. :( not because of anything but maybe, its just gotten a little old. it used to be really nice though. oh well. hopefully next year is better. apart from that. auntie jo gave us all crazy string. so naturally, we all went nuts. having a crazy string fight on the road. that was fun. except for the part where i got gunk all in my hair. LOL.

the next morning was christmas day. again, it was weird just the three of us, but we managed. daddy got a wardrobe makeover and mommy got her ipod again, for the second time along with some other stuff. my presents were good too! somehow, i've forgotten what we do for the rest of the day in the previous years. but i spent it reading. LOL. i'm addicted to twilight. my new Hunter Niall, is Edward Cullen. gaga. :)

for christmas night, as usual we went to auntie phek hoons. i just helped out a little while waiting for mel to come. sheesh. that girl came late. so i was stuck hanging out with older people till she did. the rest of the night passed quickly. it was filled with eating, and eating, and eating and talking and camwhoring and more camwhoring. LOL. oh yeah, mo sang "have yourself a merry little christmas" this year. it was nice. oh yeah. i wore my pretty dress from s'pore. (pancakesmelpancakes)

okay, so now i'm finally gonna update on whats been happening the past few days. be excited. ;p

on friday night, jue, belle and i slept over at lena's. i bet it was lena's ploy to get us to cook for her christmas lunch the next day. LOL. whatever it was, it was fun.

cause lena would only be home a little later, jue and i did some catching up at mcD's. :D it was nice. later when we got there lena still wasnt home yet. so obviously jue and i made ourselves at home. watching one tree hill and trying to get keira out of the room. -_- she's one crazy cat. LOL. later on, when belle and lena got back we started with the potatoes. peeling and peeling like there was no tomorrow.

so basically the night was full of peeling potatoes, making gingerbread cookies and whipping whatever that chocolate thing is called. and of course tons of chatting and camwhoring in between. :D after all that cooking we tried to continue watching one tree hill but i just fell asleep. it was 6.30 mind you. HAHA. oh well.

the next morning we woke up around twelve to find annie standing in the doorway. -_- what a lovely sight. LOL. i was really awake after that so he started trying to get jue and belle up. now THAT, was funny. after a long time of that, i just went to go get ready and then helped out around the kitchen. okay, lets just fast forward to the lunch. in the end, everyone who came was

JULIE DARL, WHEN ARE YOU GETTING BACK!?

Okay, so its been weeks since the holidays have started and we only have two freaking weeks left! :S I just bought my school books. Its kinda sad, this is the last time I'll go to school to buy new school books. Its starting to hit me, this is going to be our LAST year in high school. And that is scary like shit. After this coming year, we'll all be going our seperate ways. Some to UK (grumbleLENAgrumble), some to do A-Levels, SAM and what not. I doubt anyone will be joining me in CPU. I guess at least i'll have Mel. Hopefully.

Okay, there's like tons of things that i still have to do before the holidays come to an end. I have to finish my stupid add math hw (evil mr cheen la), trio sleepover, swimming, ktz with cousins, cousins sleepover, go skating, have a karaoke session ;) and learn to play at least one new song on the guitar. Sigh, considering the time i have left, i doubt i'll get much done.

Anyway, the day started with me actually getting up on time. (for a change)

Today was the second and last day of the dance workshop. I highly recommend the dance space, it was good. LOL. I think everyone really liked the sexy jazz dance. Especially Carmen. Hehe. We learned Jazz, Hip Hop(again) and Salsa today. I really really enjoyed it. I think if i had enough time, i would do more dance. But sadly i just don't. :( Damnn.

In the afternoon, I got back from the workshop, worried like mad thinking i had piano class today and of course i hadn't practiced much yet. Luckily i didn't have class la. So, instead i went over to Auntie Phek Hoon's to visit Mel. I hadn't seen her in like AGES. She just finished SPM. stupid exam. So of course, enjoying la. We went out to Jaya for some lunch. I can't believe the closed Dome there. So we had Laksa Shack instead. It was good.

It was nice catching up with her. Thats the good thing about us. We can not see each other for like months, but when we do we click just like that. :) Anyway, after that we helped Auntie Phek Hoon with her Christmas dinner Poppers. It was tough okay. LOL. On a lighter note.

Today, i went for a dance workshop at the dance space.

I woke up late, at ten. The workshop starts at ten. LOL.

I blame shaun.

It was pretty good. :) The dance moves were cool.

I'm such a geek. But really, its obvious from the way carmen and I dance that we do ballet. -_-

In the afternoon, Jil came over.

She was like my first contact with PJ civilisation since i came back from OB. Apart from those at the workshop of course. It was really random, but nice. :) We hung out, went online, ronda the neighbourhood looking for a place with top up. Stupid Mobil Station. We watched Saved too. I was laughing but it was kinda slow, so jil was falling asleep. LOL.

All in all, it was a great way to spend a day.

I really need to go christmas shopping. Am I late, or am I late?

There are soo many movies out that i need to watch too. Who wants to go outt? I'm in desperate need of some sort of social life. If not i shall forever rot in OB depression. Okay, that was a little too dramatic.

HOME SWEET HOME.

Today, i just got back from Singapore.
Last week, i'd just gotten back from OBML.

How time flies eyh?
Bottom line is, i miss OBML. But lets stop stating the obvious.

Anyway, I went to S'pore for the yearly "Ham Run". Its where my mom and a couple friends drive down to S'pore to buy, what else, HAM. LOL. I just go along for the shopping. :)So we reached there on Wednesday around two ish. Went to Auntie Linda's and unloaded the car before heading off to Holland Village. Walked around, wasted time, bought a s'pore sim card to use and that was pretty much it.

It was also my mom's bday. HAPPY BDAY MOMMY! and shra and aznam and k jin and rushitaa and everyone else born on this day. :)

So, auntie linda took us out for dinner at blooies. Its like a Canadian pizza place. Some of Auntie LInda's relatives were also there. Met some new ppl, Wei Yan and Nick. Wow, in three weeks i've met three nicks. HAHA. The food was pretty good adn the place was nice too. The waiter was kinda SLOW, but it was okay la. Chatted and laughed, it was all good. Oh yeah, Daddy decided to come down to s'pore for the dinner too. It was really sweet la. But he reached the restaurant really late, but hey, its the thought that counts. :)

The next day i went out with my Singaporean BUBUlicious friends. :) In the morning we dropped Auntie Linda off at work and then I got dropped off at the MRT station. I took the MRT by myself down to the Tampines station where we were all meeting. It was GREAT seeing almost everyone. We walked around a little before heading into KFC so shitty shaun could eat. chatted played all the games, except for murderer. :( Later we headed off to Banu's place. Ppl must have thought we were weird, a bunch of kids walking all over tampines. LOL. Here's a picture for your imagination.

When we got to banu's, we basically hung out. enjoying each others company mah. LOL. we ate, and watched movies, went online and of course, played the hand game thing and 'bang bang'. It was funny and FUN. While watching 'She's the Man' Cleo knew the lines by heart, so she decided to repeat them over and over. LOL. Annoyed some, Entertained the rest. :) We had pizza for lunch. It was great seeing everyone again. Shaun tried to pull some of his gay moves on Balvinder. ;) HAHA. Later on kristle wanted to go to ikea, so we walked in the rain only to realise that its too far, and knowing me, i was too lazy to walk that far. HAHA. So, we hopped on a bus and went to the interchange. Walked around Tampines Mall for a little bit. Then i had to leave. :( I hated having to say bye all over again.
