haha, thats probably the most malay i've spoken in months.
this was probably the first time i've really celebrated celebrated merdeka,
kinda.
last year, i was sitting in front of my laptop,
listening to my neighbor get drunk and singing negaraku
and i was with my history book.
oh how patriotic.

but this year was fun,
totally worth every second. :)

yes, i can truly say that i'm happy with how these holidays have been going. we've done some pretty awesome stuff which i need not mention here. if you were there, then you know la. :) haha. hmm. i've managed to catch up with some friends. spend time with the best friend. and bake cupcakes. next time i should definitely plan distribution better, that way i'm not stuck with week old cupcakes, at home. :(

the week was fun, but i think that was due to alot of procrastination on the homework front. dammit. why do we need homework over the holidays anyways. is it purely to torture us? :( i've still over a hundred pages of my core novel to read and calculus to do. i guess we know what i'll be doing on sunday. happy happy joy joy. HAH.

enough pessimism. despite that, i am superdy duperdy happy. don't ask me why, i also don't know. hahaha. just happy. :) i've got a whole stack of books just waiting for me to read them. this is why i need another week of holidays la. then only it would be perfect. i want/need a beach la. its been way too long. i can't even remember the last time i actually did go to one. eeks. :S i shall post pictures up soon i suppose. nothing absolutely blog worthy though just to capture the moment.

okay, so the holidays have been veryy blurry. i haven't really done much other than bum around all day. i've got quite a pile of work to finish up and there are so many people that i still wanna see. it just seems like i never even will get close to doing it all. one week is so not enough. but what to do? i wish i could say i have the raya holidays to catch up with the rest of it, but i doubt i'll have that either. will most probably be away.

i need to maximise that club membership before it expires come early september. gah. whatever la. hmm. i still need to read my core novel for 4U. i'm screwed la. anyone know of a place, thats not home, where you can get some serious reading done? cause i need that. majorly.

tomorrow we're working on aqil's campaign. it should be fun. meeting up with the college usuals. minus classes always tearing us apart. (fine, always tearing me from them :() but yeah. it'll be nice to be around people again. HAHA. i've been in solitude way to long. (read: 24hours) heh. i'm being such a drama queen, but what the heck. too many cupcakes kot. i'm on a permanent sugar high. :D whee.

today i found this site to watch The Hills. haha. the good old days. and how things have changed on that show. can no longer be LD, Jueli and Spentan. HAHAHA. funny funny times. before add math class. rushing to finish homework, while religiously watching The Hills. :) goo goo ga ga ing over their clothes and only dreaming to live such a life. i also wanna work at teen vogue lah.

so, i've had less than nine hours of sleep in the past two days. i can definitely say that i'm exhausted. of course, it wasn't all for nothing! it has been pretty awesome. :D

yesterday was the taylors dance arena, and it was extremely impressive. definitely alot of talent out there. :) except for those two acts that i thought weren't up to the standard of the others. i'm sorry lah. i just really think that shuffling pants and skirts that barely cover you ass and/or spankies are UGLY. but then again, thats just my opinion. heh.

overall i'd say the even was a success and props to the taylors dance club for organising the event! :D i loved the whole dj on the roof thing. quite the cool lah! :)

stayed over at nawwars last night along with jue and sandy. HAHA. it was freaking funny. :) i don't think i've laughed that hard in a very very very long time. we gossiped and talked about every tom, dick and harry in the world till the wee hours of the morning. thus the lack of sleep. but totally and completely worth it. HEHE. i kept on singing techno music and annoying the shit out of them. was reading all nawwars motivational posters around her room randomly. "IF I CAN'T, THEN I MUST." ;) a very very good night indeed. :) we should do it again.

then when we finally got up in the morning, and took forever to get changed and freshened up, we dragged on our asses down to bangsar for brunch. HAHA, rich kids kononnya. oh btw, if you wanna ajak me out this week, i'm broke. :( we had brunch at alexis. hmm, the tiramisu was goooood. chit chatted lagii. we were all pretty tired, so it was on home after that. dearest nawwar dropped us all on home, and i must compliment her driving. quite the good driver lor. ;)

hmm, i'm gonna go read my book and tend to my pile of homework. sheesh o. :( then i'm gonna sleep, for like the next twelve hours. HAHA. :D toods loves!

went out with the girls today. although we were missing a big piece of the group, that hour and a half was exactly what i needed. oh how i realised how much i really really do miss those girls. odd how the tables have kinda turned. but its all good. i'm sure i've mentioned it before, but no matter how long we've been apart, nothing has changed other than the stories when we do get back together. love love. :) will try and steal pictures from my syaffy soon. toodlooo. :)

panic! at the disco was freaking awesome! :D

i know la, damn late i'm updating about it all,
but i've been piled down with tests and assignments. :(

anywho's, on to PANIC. :D we got there relatively early, sat down for a while. the crowd was kinda pathetic. :( which is sad, cause they were really good. kinda malu la, at the numbers that showed up. it was just like, owh, thats all? :S the good part was that the crowd that did show up was really good. we were loud. heeeee! :D and there were like minimal if no rempits and what not whatsoever. talk about YAY. :) the crowd i was supposed to go with kept fluctuating, but the final few were me, jue, annie, hana, aqil and nabeel (thegoatboyHAHA!) :) twas very very very enjoyable and we had an awesome time together. getting swept away with the crowd, squeezing our way to the front and screaming our lungs out.
